# Creating Landscape Designs

By the end of this tutorial, you’ll be able to:

## Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Access the Landscaping Design Tool: Open the **AI Renovation Kit** and select Landscaping Design from the tools or from the **Design Tools** on the left-hand menu of the app.

2. Upload an Image:
* Take or upload a clear, well-lit photo of your outdoor space.
* Ensure the photo captures the area you wish to redesign, including any key features like walkways or garden beds.

3. Choose or create your landscaping template

* Also, you can create your preferred template by generating the design using specific word descriptions.

4. Customize and generate your Design
You can customize your design in one of four ways:
* **Only Garden** - Here, the system applies your selected template to only the areas of your image that it recognizes as a garden.
* **Only Pavement** - The system will apply your selected design template to the pavement discovered in your uploaded image.
* **Set Custom** - Here, you have a Brush Tool that helps you manually mark out the boundaries of where you want your selected template applied. You can adjust the brush size to your preference using the slider.

* **All** - The system designs every aspect of your landscape based on your chosen or created template.
    
Once you have done your customization, click **Generate** to transform your outdoor landscape. You will see the before and after of your image, once the system completes the process.

6. Save your design: Click **Download **or ** Save** (for the app) to store your design on your device.
