Creating your custom design and style
Renovate AI gives you two powerful ways to create and personalize your designs: the Renovate Tool and the Create Tool. Whether you're refining an existing space or starting from scratch, these tools provide the flexibility to bring your unique style to life.
By the end of this guide, you’ll be able to:
Understand the difference between the Renovate Tool and the Create Tool.
Create and customize designs on both web and mobile.

We offer two unique and distinct ways of creating your personalized designs and style that uniquely suit and serve your purpose. These options are:
Using the Descriptor or New Style feature in the Renovate Tool.
Using the Create Tool.
These two options are uniquely distinct and offer two different approaches to helping you create your dream design.

Select the Renovate tool from your home screen.

Here, scroll to the last configuration option on the left-hand side tabs to see the Descriptor feature.

Choose and upload an image of your space.

The Descriptor feature has an input box where you can type in your style description.
Since it is your unique style, you need to be very specific to get your exact results. The more specific you are, the better the result.
Consider including the following:
Color schemes (e.g., "warm earth tones" or "cool blues and grays")
Furniture styles (e.g., "mid-century modern," "rustic farmhouse," "minimalist Scandinavian")
Materials (e.g., "reclaimed wood," "polished concrete," "brushed gold accents")
Lighting preferences (e.g., "soft ambient lighting," "statement chandelier," "industrial pendant lights")
Mood or atmosphere (e.g., "cozy and inviting," "sleek and modern," "bright and airy")
Once you have described your design, click the “ Mark” icon.
Then, click on Renovate to effect your design on your uploaded image.

Embedded in this tool are the following:
Magic Eraser: You can use this tool to remove unwanted patches from your newly generated design.
Creative Upscaler: Seen as 4K in the tool, you can use this tool to improve the image quality of the generated design. It allows you to see the finer details of your new design.
Visual Search: This allows you to search marketplaces for the objects or items in your new design.

Click Download to store your design.

Select the Renovate tool from the AI Renovation Kit.

Upload your image from the different choices you have on the upload page.

Click on the New Style button to open a new window where you will guide the tool on your design choices.

In the resulting window, you can create your design from two options. They are:
Guide the AI : Here, you create your new design or style by describing it explicitly. Since it is your unique style, you need to be very specific to get your exact results. The more specific you are, the better the result. Consider including the following:
Color schemes (e.g., "warm earth tones" or "cool blues and grays")
Materials (e.g., "reclaimed wood," "polished concrete," "brushed gold accents")
Furniture styles (e.g., "mid-century modern," "rustic farmhouse," "minimalist Scandinavian")
Lighting preferences (e.g., "soft ambient lighting," "statement chandelier," "industrial pendant lights")
Mood or atmosphere (e.g., "cozy and inviting," "sleek and modern," "bright and airy")
Style Transfer : To create your design or style this way, you need to upload a reference image, which the system will use as a template for your new style.

Once you have described your style or uploaded a reference image, click on Create Style to generate your new design.
Perfect your generated design by editing its details when you click the little pencil icon on your newly generated design.

Embedded in this tool are the following:
Clean up: You can use this tool to remove unwanted patches from your newly generated design.
Landscaping: If your new design has an outdoor area, you can use this tool to make changes to the outdoor area.
Walls and Decor: You can make subtle adjustments to parts of your new design detected as walls.
Creative Upscaler: Seen as Upscale in the tool, you can use this tool to improve the image quality of the generated design. It allows you to see the finer details of your new design.
Color Finder: This helps you find appropriate colors for your walls that suit your taste.
Visual Search: This allows you to search marketplaces for the objects or items in your new design.
Sky Palette: This tool allows you to visualize how your new design looks under different sky conditions, especially if your design is outdoors.

To have more options to choose from, you can decide to generate more design or style by clicking on the numbers or the + icon directly beneath your generated design.

You can generate as many designs as you want.
To see all your generated designs, click on the three dots beside the Save button and select the See All Designs option.

Compare your newly generated style with the original image you uploaded by clicking and holding the Before button on the right hand side of your screen.

Click Save to store your design in your project board.

Also, you can download your design to your device from the three dot icon beside the Save button.

After downloading, click Share and Collaborate if you so wish.

As you type, our system provides suggestions to you for a comprehensive description of your design.
Once you are done describing, click Imagine (on the web) or Create (on the app) to generate your new design style.
Click Download All to download your generated designs.

Select each generated design to Save or Download individual designs.

For the Web
Access the Renovate tool
Select the Renovate tool from your home screen.

Upload an image
Choose and upload an image of your space.

Input your design and style description

Generate more variants of your design
To have more options to choose from, you can decide to generate more design or style by clicking on the numbers or the + icon directly beneath your generated design.

You can generate as many designs as you want.
To see all your generated designs, click on the three dots beside the Save button and select the See All Designs option.

Compare with the original image
Compare your newly generated style with the original image you uploaded by clicking and holding the Before button on the right hand side of your screen.

Save and Share
Click Save to store your design in your project board.

Also, you can download your design to your device from the three dot icon beside the Save button.

Use our AI Auto Complete
As you type, our system provides suggestions to you for a comprehensive description of your design.
Imagine
Once you are done describing, click Imagine (on the web) or Create (on the app) to generate your new design style.
Download
Click Download All to download your generated designs.

Select each generated design to Save or Download individual designs.
