Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Access the Landscaping Tool

Open the AI Renovation Kit from your Renovate AI dashboard.
Select Landscaping Tool to enter the design interface.

2. Upload or Select Your Image

Upload a high-resolution image of your driveway or the area where you’d like to build one.
Alternatively, select an existing project from your library.

3. Define the Driveway Area

There are four ways to detect the floor boundaries in the uploaded image.
All: The tool will attempt to auto-detect the driveway boundaries.
Only Garden: This tool will detect areas of the image that are gardens already. It is useful if you only want to see how renovating your existing garden will look.
Only Pavement: This tool detects only the pavement area of your uploaded image. It is useful if you want to convert the area into a driveway.
Set Custom: This is the most flexible option that allows you brush over the areas you want to renovate. The system only then applies your driveway over this selected area.

4. Define Your Driveway Material

In the My Template tab, define your preconceived materials in the text box, such as:
Concrete: Sleek, modern, and durable.
Asphalt: Cost-effective and smooth.
Pavers: Adds texture and visual interest.
Gravel: Rustic and easy to install.

5. Customize Driveway Details

Adjust the width and length of the driveway to suit your property.
Include the driveway patterns you want like herringbone, basket-weave, or running bond for pavers.
You can describe the borders to be of contrasting materials for a polished look.

6. Generate and Refine

Click Generate to see how your chosen materials and patterns look.
Fine-tune the design by adjusting materials or dimensions.

7. Save and Export

Click Download to export your project to your device for sharing or referencing during your renovation.

Best Practices

Match Your Home’s Aesthetic: Choose materials and colors that complement the house.
Prioritize Durability: Select materials that can withstand weather conditions and heavy use.
Incorporate Drainage: Plan for proper water runoff to avoid pooling.
Add Lighting: Install lights along the edges for safety and curb appeal.
