Editing Images - Overview
Renovate AI (RAI) offers three main ways to edit the image (the photo you uploaded) to re-imagine your space:
- Tell RAI field – (most common) use this when you want to “tell RAI” what changes you want to make to the image
- Style Application (sometimes called Style Transfer) – use this when you’re playing around with different ideas for inspiration
- Design Consultation – use this when you want RAI to walk you through a question-answer type of experience to re-imagine your space
Here is a breakdown of when to use which editing method:

Limitations | None | A Design Consultation Report provides lots of details. It can take minutes to create, so it requires you to have more patience than RAI’s other editing methods. Hang tight! The coliseum wasn’t built in a day! (But 5 minutes seems about right by today’s standards.) | None |
Tips | Tip:You can even add your own custom images, which we call “components” (paint colors, flooring, tile, wall coverings, textiles, furnishings) to RAI’s Imagination Library and then apply them to your image using the Tell RAI field. | Upload multiple photos of your space from different angles, so the RAI designer can get a more complete sense of the space. |
