You need RAI to walk you though a step-by-step (question/answer) approach

You are looking for inspiration or just messing around with the direction you’d like the space to take

Examples

From the main editing screen, which we call the “canvas,” click the Tell RAI field and enter: “Change the flooring to colorful tile” “Remove the couch”“Add a walkway from the driveway to the main door”

At the bottom of the home screen, click Designer. Upload your photos of the space, and answer a question or two about what you don’t like about the space and what you wish it could be.The RAI Designer will create a Design Consultation Report for you, including an image of your re-imaged space.

Your ability to describe the changes you want RAI to make

A Design Consultation Report provides lots of details. It can take minutes to create, so it requires you to have more patience than RAI’s other editing methods. Hang tight! The coliseum wasn’t built in a day! (But 5 minutes seems about right by today’s standards.)

RAI will make broad assumptions about the changes you want to make. Using styles is a great way to get ideas for a space, but it gives you less control than the other methods.

Tips

You can add your own custom images, which we call “components” (paint colors, flooring, tile, wall coverings, textiles, furnishings) to RAI’s Imagination Library and then apply them to your image using the Tell RAI field. See Adding Components

Upload multiple photos of your space from different angles, so the RAI designer can get a more complete sense of the space.

You can use all of these editing methods together. So for example, if you start with styles, you can save your image and make additional changes using the Tell RAI field.
